If you are someone that works onstage as well as backstage then we recommend you fill out both of these forms and be sure to send us two separate resumes that highlights your skills and experience in each area.  

I want to cast or hire ...

Within the password protected page there is information on how to sort the database as well as a section filled with headshots and resumes that can be easily scrolled through.  If you would like access to our databases please send us an email and we'll happily provide annual access for a small fee. If you attend our Group Auditions, access to the database is included for the next year. 

Have you joined our Facebook group?

The Maine Theater Collective Facebook Group there are multiple theaters throughout the State of Maine posting about a variety of things.  This includes audition notices.  In order to post you will need to request to join the group and we will review to make sure you are not a spam account before adding you. There is a rule that no single company can post about the same thing more than once a week so we do try to avoid you feeling constantly bombarded about the same event.

Group Auditions?

Portland Stage has historically hosted local auditions for actors in the Greater Portland community. The goal was for multiple local theater organizations to be involved so that one could audition once for everyone. There was also an Offstage Mingle for people that do everything but act (direct, designer, stage manage, etc.). Our next round of Group Auditions is in January!

Portland Stage will be hosting group auditions on January 12th and 13th, 2025. The auditions will take place each day from 7:00-10:00 PM. Actors may fill out this FORM to sign up for an audition slot. Any theaters interested in attending the auditions may RSVP HERE.
